Making Your Perfume Last Longer.

How To’s: Making your Perfume Last Longer

Most ladies love perfumes. It gives off that feminine fragrance that ladies (and men) love. Perfumes can add an air of sophistication to a lady’s overall image.

The problem faced however by most perfume users and lovers is the fact the fragrance doesn’t last as long as they’d wish it would. After some hours or minutes it fades away and it becomes necessary to reapply or just go through the rest of the day like that.

There are some tricks that can make perfumes last longer and solve this annoying problem;

1. Moisturize:

The ideal time to spray your perfume is when you are fresh out of the shower and have moisturized, this is because when you shower with hot water, the steam from the shower opens up your pores and makes it better for the skin to absorb the perfume.

2. Apply to pulse points:

Your pulse points are the areas of your body where your heartbeat can be felt. These areas are warm due to the blood. Apply it to areas such as your wrists, the back of your ears, behind your knees, cleavage, elbow and so on as the heat liberated from these areas activates the fragrance.

3. Don’t rub:

Most of us are so used to rubbing on areas where we spray our perfumes especially our wrists. This is so wrong as the friction breaks the perfumes top notes and changes the scent or makes it duller.

4. Spray on your hairbrush:

This will definitely help solve some of the problems ladies face with smelly weaves. Spray some of the fragrance on your hair brush before you run it through your hair. This will make you have a whiff of your perfume each time your flip your hair.

5. Store your fragrances right: Certain environmental factors such as direct sunlight and extreme cold can distort them. So, store in a cool dry place like your closet.
